The Philadelphian has such a comprehensive list of offered amenities that you don't have to step out of the building to enjoy yourself or to get things done. With two pools (indoor and outdoor), a bank, grocery store, fitness center, drugstore, restaurant, travel agency, and even a dry-cleaning service, residents of the Philadelphian can access all the modern conveniences without having to leave home. And if you do want to leave home, you don?t have to take your car out of the garage - there's a courtesy bus that will bring you directly to Center City.
Close by scenic Fairmount Park and Kelly Drive, the Philadelphian also boasts great views and is a hop, skip and jump away from Boathouse Row, bordering the Schuylkill River. The Art Museum is also easy to reach and, if you're feeling more adventurous, you could drop by the historic Eastern State Penitentiary where Al Capone was once a reluctant guest. (Don't forget to bring your ghost-busting gear - though the former prison is now a museum, it's popularly believed that some inmates are still hanging around inside.)
